Martell pays tribute to Black creative minds, featuring artist Janelle Monae, mixologist and Cognac expert Franky Marshall, and other talents who have challenged the conventional norms by expressing themselves freely. The inspiring and spirited film is directed by rising young filmmaker and New Yorker Ewurakua Dawson-Amoah, a recent Tisch graduate, already founder of the Melacast Network, director of Greenpoint Pictures, and a sound mixer herself. Sound design is by Kouz, and the heavenly track Heaven on Earth is by Basil & Lemon, for SuperPitch.
