Sublime flawlessness, these are the words that come to mind when discovering the film by Franco-Senegalese filmmaker Mati Diop (Grand Prix of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival for Atlantics) for Fred & Farid Los Angeles. Beautiful people to tell the story of the world – and of LOUIS XIII cognac – through the faces, bodies and interdisciplinary talents of gorgeous, honored artists. Chinese designer Guo Pei dresses the divine Solange Knowles who was particularly involved in the overall process, both as an ambassador and as composer of the score. Her voice travels from the Big Bang to us, with soundwork by Kouz.
