Les Kouz
Composer / producer / multi-instrumentalist
Thomas is a French composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose work crosses orchestral, electronic and hybrid writing. Trained in acoustics, signal processing, sound and composition at RMIT Melbourne, he has written for film, television and contemporary art installations, with recent scores including Les Sentinelles and KO.
Producer / sound designer / studio founder
Grégoire is a producer and sound designer working at the intersection of images, stories and production. Through Kouz, he connects audiovisual production, sound design, recording and post-production, helping projects move from creative intention to precise sonic execution.
Founders
Kouz was founded and is run by artistic directors Grégoire and Thomas Couzinier. Since 2001, the company has brought together production, post-production, music, recording and sound design for cinema, advertising, television, documentaries, installations and brands.
Their shared work moves between craft and instinct: Thomas often carries the musical and compositional side, while Grégoire anchors sound design, supervision and mix. Together they have built a studio able to connect creative direction, technical rooms and a network of collaborators around each project.
What Kouz connects
A Paris facility for recording, editing, sound design, ADR and mix, built for projects that need creative decisions and technical precision in the same room.
A music house and label dedicated to music for image, from original composition to catalogue searches and supervision.
